August 16 - Dear Nicholas Sparks

Dear Mr. Sparks,

Today was a very interesting day.  Along with 2 friends, Laura Tomczyk and Holi Tavernier-Bradley, I modeled for a promo shoot for our 2015 Masquerading Angels Ball.

This event is our biggest fundraiser in North Carolina and this year, we will celebrate our charity's 20th anniversary.

We met the incredible Eric Honeycutt of VegaBlue Studios in Raleigh and then proceeded to take photos in costume.  Eric is an awarding winning Southern Gothic photographer and a pretty great guy.  We are so blessed to have his support and his talent for our cause.

We had a lot of fun and have been able to use these shots quite a bit.

I met Eric through Laura (who lost her nephew, Owen, to CDH) at a show at his studio.  I immediately fell in love with his work because it is so different, so creative, so dark but yet, so compelling.  Eric is a Christian and he's very respectful in his work.  We have plans for more photos on a different project and I look forward to working with him again.

Sincerely,
Dawn M. Torrence Williamson
